Our Wedding + Event Options

Those that truly love flowers will want their celebration to be completely unique and absolutely beautiful.  Having a deep knowledge of seasonal flowers, we can illuminate your vision by suggesting details you may not have considered on your own. One unexpected flower, leaf or color can transform an already lovely design into a piece that takes your breath away.

Yellow House Flowers may not be a good fit if you have rigid ideas of exact, matching color, specific must-have flowers or want your pieces to be precise copies of a picture you have found. However, if you love nature, and are open to a preferred framework of colors and flowers within which to work, you can trust us to find the synchronicity of elements that combine to create a style that truly captures the individuality of your event. 

We offer you peace of mind through clear communication and the assurance that the florals are taken care of. All floral design is custom work, and we offer three wedding and event options to meet a range of budgets. We look forward to collaborating with you. 

Special Events

This floral package is designed for clients seeking exceptional floral artistry in keeping with the rarity of a special occasion such as a rehearsal dinner, small wedding reception or anniversary celebration.  Typically, this would include designs such as table centerpieces, large arrangements for an entrance or greeting area, and possibly personal flowers for guest of honor. Similar to the à la carte option, pieces can be carefully packed for pickup, or we can deliver and set up your florals for a fee if our schedule allows. $750 minimum, dependent upon the season.

À la Carte Weddings

Our à la carte program is the solution for those who want beautiful, custom personal flowers, along with easily transportable ceremony and reception pieces or materials that family and friends can set up quickly themselves. Friends or family typically pick up your order at our location in Old Lenexa. We also can deliver your florals for a fee if our schedule allows. We’re happy to send you our brochure (PDF) on à la carte weddings, which outlines the process and provides a menu of floral options. À la carte orders typically begin at $1,500 before delivery charges.

Full Service Weddings

We specialize in hearing and understanding your vision, then transforming your ceremonial space as beautifully as you imagine. We will provide focused attention on your event; give you careful, prompt communication; keep you notified of any changes; and coordinate with other vendors as needed. From details to statement pieces, we will collaborate with you to create a setting that merges the natural garden style with your life experience and inspiration. Our full-service weddings typically range in price between $2,500-$6000.

Our Process

1. Send the initial details about your wedding through our contact form. We’ll follow up via email to make sure which of our programs best meets your needs.

2. We’ll schedule a consultation, in person or by phone (we work with many out-of-town clients), to explore your vision and plans. We’ll ask you to share some additional information before the meeting, such as your wish list, colors, expected number of guests, and a few favorite photos. This gets ideas flowing and makes for a smooth beginning in developing your vision and the overall proposal we prepare for you after our meeting.

3. If Yellow House Flowers feels like a great fit, we’ll send you a contract. Once we receive your signed contract and deposit, your wedding date will be officially booked, and we'll begin the planning process together.
